The Luxury Girls Getaway is the perfect event for this time of year. The weather is getting colder, schedules are getting busier, and the holiday season is coming up. This luxurious ladies weekend in Manchester is the perfect solution to relieving all of those life stressors! The Equinox Resort and the Manchester Designer Outlets created this weekend – for girls only! – to relax, pamper, and rejuvenate all those in attendance, giving ladies a much-needed break from the demands of their daily schedules.
This event was kicked off on Friday night with a Designer Fashion show and elegant dinner in the Equinox Resort’s “Rockwell Room”. A room designed to make the ladies in attendance feel extravagant, yet classy, set the tone for the theme of the evening.
Decked out in the latest fashions, models walked the runway to highlight some of the best the stores have to offer this season.

Designers featured in the show included several of the Manchester Designer Outlet Stores – Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, Not Your Daughter’s Jeans, Brooks Brothers, Coach, Theory, and Giorgio Armani.
In addition to the high-fashion designer show, the ladies in the audience loved the up close and personal views they received of the clothing after the show, when the models circulated the room, talked with the ladies, and maybe even handed out some store discounts!
This fashionable kick-off night was highlighted by DJ Jake Allen from Fly 92.3, who kept the music (and ladies!) hopping with songs like “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and reminded ladies “This weekend is all about YOU! No sports games on TV, no PTA meetings, no laundry to do! Just dancing, shopping, and having fun!”
The rest of the weekend included fantastic perks and events available only for the “Luxury Girls”, such as no sales tax on clothing at the outlet stores, fashionable makeovers, popular Pilates and Yoga classes, and famous Vermont breakfasts, as well as gourmet meals throughout the day.
